There are many reasons to go to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, but on Sundays there's one more: art. On the railings outside the park on the north (Bayswater Road) side, between Queensway and Lancaster Gate stations, dozens of artists lay out their original paintings to buy. The art ranges from impressionist to expressionist, realist to surrealist - although many pictures depict London in a variety of forms. See what you want to buy and talk to the painters themselves - weather permitting, of course - from 10am to 6pm.
