With steam trains running along its route as early as 1812, the Middleton Railway, in south Leeds, has a strong claim to be the world's oldest running railway. Jump aboard a steam locomotive on it this Sunday, between their base on Moor Road and their station at Park Halt for Middleton Park, and back again, as you ride through history, and explore the railway's museum which tells its story.
