Ho Chi Minh City's Independence Palace, an iconic 1960s building, was the Presidential Palace for the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War - a war which was ended as a North Vietnam tank crashed into the grounds of the building in 1975. Discover more about the history of the war, with artefacts and video presentations, at the building - open between 7.30-11am and 1-4pm.
